J. J. Powell, Inc. provides emergency burner and
fueling service 24/7 for current fuel customers.
If you have an emergency situation when the business office is closed,
we can still be reached through our paging service.
If you are a current fuel customer and have an
emergency that requires immediate attention (out of fuel or burner not
working), you can call any of our business offices and let a message
with the answering system. The system will page the person on call (POC)
and he will contact you within 30 minutes. Please allow 30 minutes for a
return call. The POC may be assisting another customer at the time of
your call. Your call will be answered in turn. If you are
not a current customer, please
contact the business office on the next business day.
Please let your name, a short description of the
problem, and most importantly, a phone number where you can be
reached. If you forget to let a return number, it significantly slows
down the process for you and us. Once the POC returns your call, you can
work out the details of how to proceed on the emergency call.
Here are a few things to remember. If you have a
non-emergency call, please wait until the business office is
open. This is important for several reasons. First, the emergency
service is exactly that--an "emergency service." In most cases,
the POC is only equipped to handle emergency calls. Your non-emergency
question will eventually have to be answered by a person in the business
office. So we ask that you are considerate of other customers, who have
true emergencies, and not tie up the emergency system for a
non-emergency. If you were waiting with an emergency, you would
appreciate that courtesy.
